SONDA’s Sustainability Statement
In the framework of the Strategic Plan 2019-2021, and our vocation for the development of a sustainable business model that allows improving people´s quality of life, innovating and adding value through services and technological solutions that support the business and activities of our customers, as a company, we have decided to move forward in the first Green Bond issuance of our history.
In this context, we will place UF1,500,000, or its equivalent in pesos, through a single series, I or J, charged to the bond line registered in the Securities Register of the Commission for the Financial Market under N° 622. This issuance aims to make the Use of Funds exclusively intended to pay the maturity of the Series E bonds, which we will face on November 1, 2019.
Given the context above, the Green Bond certification carried out by Sustainalytics considered our commitment to allocate an equivalent amount to the funds placed in the issuance, which will be allocated to the development of Elegible Green Projects that are aligned with the Principles of Green Bonds (2018) of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA).
