SONDA's Net Income grows 19.9% in the second quarter of 2022

The main milestones of the quarter include increased commercial activity, the closing of new relevant contracts in different countries and the commitment to deliver solutions to customers from anywhere in the world.

Julio 29, 2022. - SONDA, leader in digital transformation in the region, reported its financial results for the second quarter of 2022, with consolidated revenues amounting $248,787 million, equivalent to US$ 266.9 million, and EBITDA of $26,876 million, equivalent to US$ 28.8 million.

In reporting currency, revenues increased 19.4% compared to the second quarter of 2021.

The increase in revenues in all the regions where the company is present stands out, which presented growth of 14.5% in Southern Cone Region, 16.9% in Andean Region, 23.8% in North America and 32% in Brazil.

At the same time, net profit was $10,848 million, which represents a growth of 19.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.

In commercial terms, business closings for the quarter reached US$539.5 million, increasing by 83.4% compared to the same period in 2021. In this line, it should be noted that business growth was achieved in all geographies: Southern Cone Region (+36.5%), Andean Region (+118.6%), North America (+110.6%) and Brazil (+149.1%). New business opportunities reached US$4,740 million, representing an increase of 7.7% compared to the first quarter of 2022.

Regarding these results, the CEO of SONDA, José Orlandini, pointed out that “in the period we were in line with our 2022-2024 strategic plan, winning very relevant contracts, among which we highlight the public-private tender called “Infovía Digital” in Brazil, with which we will connect and digitize the State of Mato Grosso do Sul, and the "Bosque Iluminado" project in Chile, which will provide real-time connectivity to 700 thousand hectares of forestry operations, increasing their safety, productivity and sustainability.
