Treasury General of the Republic reduces costs and optimizes resources via Server Virtualization solution

Client: Treasury General of the Republic Industry: Governance Solution: Virtualización y Consolidación de servidores

Before adding the solution SONDA, the Treasury was faced with the common challenges of the computer culture we live in, having several problems that prevented it from taking the right actions to deal with them efficiently: Hardware and software that was obsolete and unsupported, lack of space and excess of production servers that prevented them from meeting their provisioning needs for new servers to face the growth in operations, which demand more and better service levels and high availability, in addition to having test and development environments.

SONDA implemented the server virtualization solution with VMware in HP Blades with shared storage, and also provides support for the VMware platform with committed SLAs.

The virtualization solution implemented by SONDA has had tangible benefits in the short term, managing to reduce significantly the energy consumption of the datacenter, as well as optimizing space and improving the availability of computer resources of the General Treasury of the Republic.
